Parallel Pulse: Hitting Pause for Now
Hey everyone, just wanted to give you a quick heads up about Parallel Pulse.
I’ve decided to put this project on hold for now!
After working on Cook or Be Cooked, I realized I’m still missing several skills: mainly programming and UI. Right now it’s unrealistic for me to self-fund everything. On the bright side, I did pick up a lot while making that game (and even from another project that never got released), but there’s still plenty I need to sort out.
I actually put together a small turn-based prototype for Parallel Pulse, but it’s a long way from the vertical slice I want. The good news is that the story is much clearer in my head now, so at least that part is moving in the right direction.
This project will basically shift into being a solo dev effort, with me outsourcing artwork as it was initially planned to keep it sustainable. For now, though, I’m switching gears to other Godot projects that share similar (but learner) mechanics. My goal will be to train myself, so I'm in a much better spot to come back to Parallel Pulse.
In the meantime, feel free to follow along with my progress on the other projects. Stay tuned!
